After a five year hibernation, we are excited to be expanding our winter options to guests. The Beech Cottage with both suites and rooms and the main Lodge will remain open and our lakeside dining room will be open on weekends throughout the winter.
Muskoka and Pow Wow Point Lodge is an excellent location for family gatherings or quite retreats. We have 11 km of cross country skiing on the property and the surrounding area has alpine skiing and snowboarding, dog sledding and snowmobile trails.
We are delighted to offer 5 units in the Beech
Building available for those seeking a winter experience.
The Beech Building is a large building with 5 different units,
with descriptions below. Stay at our place for a weekend or
midweek escape. Reside in cozy comfort with your own fireplace,
flat screen TV, and "light Houskeeping" where you
can prepare your own meals. Or, dine at any of the fine restaurants
that suit every taste and budget, in Huntsville, only 10 minutes
away. In the evening open some wine and relax in front of
your own propane fireplace.
The Suites in the Beech building are equipped with kitchenettes so our guests can prepare meals for themselves after a great day on the trails or slopes. Enjoy everything a Muskoka winter has to offer. The Lodge is Located on OFSC Snowmobile trails, cross country ski from your door or take in some alpine skiing only 5 minutes away at Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area.

 CROSS COUNTRY SKIING on our groomed, trackset trails provides an adventure in nature
and fitness. There are also nearby trails to explore at the
Arrowhead Provincial Park and Algonquin Park.
SNOWSHOEING is
a great way to trek through a magical winter scene and you'll
enjoy the birds and other gentle wildlife along the way.
SNOWMOBILING adds a different kind of excitement to your winter getaway.
We're directly on O.F.S.C. Trails and we welcome new as well
as experienced riders who just love the Muskoka trails. Machine
rentals are easily arranged in nearby Huntsville and will
be delivered to the lodge for you. Bring your snowmobile and
enjoy direct access to the Muskoka OFSC trails. Please Note
the snowmobiling season normally runs from Mid January until
Early March.

Deluxe Beech Rooms #53 and
#54: These two luxury bed sitting rooms have a queen
bed, country pine furniture, granite fireplace, washroom with
separate shower stall and oval whirlpool tub, and sliding
patio doors to balcony with view of the lake. These rooms
are equipped with a small coffee maker, a kettle and a microwave
oven. Maximum 2 persons.
2 Bedroom Suite #51: Luxury two bedroom suite with ensuite washroom, one bedroom
with queen bed and the second bedroom with two twin beds. The
suite contains a kitchenette with a 2 burner stove and microwave
oven, and a six person soaker tub...the ultimate in luxury.
The sunken living room has a single sofa bed, granite fireplace
and a sliding glass door that leads to a deck with a great
view of the lake. Maximum 4 persons.
2 Bedroom Suite #55: This Deluxe Suite features two bedrooms, the first room has
a king bed and an ensuite washroom. The second room has two
queen beds. A second washroom adjacent to the common area
and a living room with a brick fireplace. The suite contains
a kitchenette with a stove top and microwave oven. Maximum
4 persons.
3 Bedroom Suite #52: This large luxury three bedroom suite, each with ensuite washroom
with whirlpool tub, has one room with a double and single
bed, one with a queen bed and the third room with two twin beds.
The suite has a kitchenette with 2 burner stove top, microwave
oven. The living room has two single sofa beds, granite fireplace
and a sliding glass door that leads to a deck with a view
of the lake. Minimum 6 persons
